01Using Bew
These terms cover the Bew browser and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using them. Bew is developer software, and development previews may be incomplete or change before public release.
02Permission to use the app
You may install and use an official Bew distribution for lawful personal or commercial work, subject to the terms supplied with that distribution. This permission does not transfer ownership of Bew, its branding, or proprietary code. Third-party components remain governed by their own licenses. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not restricted.
03Your content and responsibilities
You retain your rights to your pages, bookmarks, notes, recordings, and project files. You are responsible for the content you submit, the sites you access, and the commands you run. Use developer and automation tools only on systems you own or have permission to test. Do not use Bew for unauthorized access, unlawful interception, or infringement of others’ rights.
04Powerful tools need intentional use
Terminal commands, local source editing, form replay, network rules, downloads, and developer tools can change files or interact with external services. Check the scope of an action before running it, and keep backups of work you cannot afford to lose. Grant only the permissions needed for the task. You remain responsible for reviewing replayed forms and the rules you enable.
05Third-party services
Bew is built on Mozilla’s Gecko engine, which is licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Services you connect, such as a Mozilla account for Firefox Sync, Gmail, Calendar, or GitHub, are operated independently of Bew under their own terms, and so are websites and search engines.
06Availability, releases, and updates
Features shown in development previews may not be available in the current public download. We may improve, change, or discontinue features. Use the download page and changelog to check release status and system requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every website, or support for every third-party extension or framework.
07Fees and purchases
This website currently contains no Bew checkout or subscription flow. No paid plan, perpetual free-service promise, or refund policy is created by these pages. If paid offerings become available, their price and purchase-specific terms must be presented separately before purchase.
08Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, development previews and the website are provided as available, without a promise that they will be error-free or fit every purpose. We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party websites, services, or commands you choose to run, except where applicable law provides otherwise. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
09Stopping use and changes to these terms
You can stop using Bew at any time. Review and export important data before removing local storage. We may update these terms as the product evolves and will update the date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate product or website notice. Contact details are available on the support page.
